Homemade Vegan Nutella (Gluten Free, Paleo)

Homemade Vegan Nutella.  You guys.  This stuff is seriously good.  It’s also a super cinch to make!

I went a little crazy with the hazelnuts.  I just had some left over from my Vegan No Bake Nutella Bites and my Vegan Nutella Granola.  Store bought Nutella is loaded with unhealthy ingredients and it’s so easy to make it yourself.  Now vegans can enjoy it too!

This makes me so happy because I grew up eating Nutella.  My mom is German and we always had it in our house.  This little spread opens my mind to all kinds of yummy recipes to create in the future.  Stay tuned!

  1. Hiya Melissa, I made this yesterday and it tastes lovely! But the texture isn't quite like yours looks! It is very grainy and very crunchy. I blended the hazelnuts while they were still warm until they were powdery, like your recipe said. Should I have carried on blending them until they were more like a paste? Do you think it would have been better to let them cool down first? Also - I used 1% regular milk rather than a nut milk. Like I said, the taste is wonderful! It's just the texture was a little unexpected! Any advice?
      1. No need to apologise! It's obviously something I did! :) You mean toast the hazelnuts for longer? I was so scared of over-doing them that they may have been underdone!! Do you think that is where I went wrong?
