German Chocolate Bites - My Whole Food Life

When you think of a typical German chocolate cake recipe, it is very involved and intimidating.  Not these!  You can make them up in a matter of minutes without a mixer!  These no bake German chocolate bites are vegan, gluten free, paleo and nut free.  They are only sweetened with dates!

For the chocolate coating, I used my 3 ingredient chocolate bar recipe.  I just left out the maple syrup.  If you tend to like things a little sweeter, you can add 1 tablespoon maple syrup to the chocolate.

Here is a quick video on how to make the chocolate.

      1. The filling is very sweet, so I didn't feel the need to add the sweetener to the chocolate. However, if you like things extra sweet, feel free to add a little extra.
