Flourless Apple Almond Muffins.  If you have been following this blog for awhile, you know I am a big fan of flourless treats.

My latest recipe is for these Flourless Apple Muffins.  These healthy muffins are super soft and delicious.  All you need is 6 simple ingredients and about 20 minutes to make them.

If you made these with sunflower butter, they would be nut free.  Perfect for school lunchboxes.  One of my favorite snacks ever is apples and almond butter, so that is where I got the inspiration for this recipe.

Prep Time 5 min Cook Time 10 min

Only 6 simple ingredients to make this healthy treat!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a food processor , combine all ingredients until smooth.
  3. Spoon mixture into lined muffin pans . I used silicone liners . If you use paper liners, you may need to grease them to prevent sticking.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Let cool before removing from pan and storing.

Recipe Notes

These should last at least 2 weeks in the fridge and up to 6 months in the freezer. Enjoy!

  1. Thanks for this recipe! I have a batch that has just come out of the oven. I made my own pepita & sunflower seed butter as I had run out of the other options. They're lovely, without being too sweet. They're quite dense and satisfying. My 3yo took a bite and said "Mmm, nice, thanks Mum" so thank you, Melissa.

  3. These are awesome! I used a real egg and folded in flaxseed and walnuts after blending the ingredients. Also, baked for 15 minutes. It makes 8 regular sized muffins. I want to try to make mini muffins as well. They are even better after they've been in the fridge for a day. One of these and an egg or some fruit are the best quick breakfast ever!
