I am excited to announce another giveaway!  If you live in an area prone to natural disasters, these products are for you.  Shelf Reliance specializes in long term food storage.  They harvest fruits and vegetables at their peak and then freeze dry them for long term storage.  There are no preservatives added at all.  You can eat them as a snack just as they are, or hydrate them and use for cooking just as if you would with fresh produce.  The food is stored in double insulated cans so it can be stored for long periods of time.  It would be great for camping too.

I grew up in New England where we had a lot of snow and ice.  Last year, my parents lost power for a week and all their food went bad.  It would have been great if they had some of these freeze dried options.  I got to try a few of Shelf Reliance’s products and I can tell you they taste great.  My daughter was munching on the cauliflower just as is out of the can.  They are real easy to re hydrate too.

    1. And wow! The baby food tip is wonderful ... talk about an awesome transportable product - wish I could have brought powdered baby food on the planes and ships we travelled on when my son was little - Gerber jars are not as convenient when TSA is involved.

    2. You would really love our food! It really does taste like 'regular' food! My favorite is to make chicken salad with our Thrive chicken, carrots, onions, and celery! The foods are made with zero additives or preservatives. And the dehydrated mixed bell peppers are amazing! We toss them into stews and soups, and sometimes just pour them out of the can as-is onto baked potatoes or salads!   2. Love your company!!! My kids would be so excited to try your foods, and I LOVE that you offer survival kits! I'm always wondering what to buy to store in home in an emergency that will last a long time!

    1. Our food is awesome! Most of our food has a sealed shelf life of 25 years.....and even once the food is opened, it is still good for about 12-18 months depending on the product. There are a few exceptions to the rule, but nothing major. THRIVE Food is the way to go! The eggs are one of our best sellers for camping and hiking............add water and cook in heated pan...........in an instant or two, you have delicious scrambled eggs!     1. I love our cauliflower! It actually comes out of the can in fairly large sized pieces....you could almost use them for dipping into sauces/hummus........but why bother, they are delicious on their own!   10. Thank you for doing this giveaway! We have a can of their quinoa & a can of green beans in storage. We've also tried 2 of their freeze dried yogurt bites (cherry & strawberry) and they are so delicious! Baby liked the FD yogurt as snacks, and it's much more economical (not to mention healthier) than the FD yogurt disks from Gerber. Great giveaway!
