Double Chocolate Donuts

A decadent treat!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups gluten free oat flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 2 flax eggs (I used flax egg replacements)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the coconut oil, chocolate chips, vanilla and maple syrup and mix until everything is combined. Add it to the bowl with the dry ingredients.
  4. Lastly, add in the almond milk and the flax eggs and mix everything until it's combined.
  5. Grease your donut pans .
  6. Spoon batter into the pans.
  7. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
  8. Wait until the donuts have completely cooled before removing them from the pans.
  9. Store in an airtight container in the fridge. You can also freeze them for longer storage.
