Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie

Prep Time 5 min Serves 20 ounces or 2 servings     adjust servings

A healthy breakfast for on the go!


  • 2 cups strawberries (I used frozen)
  • 1 banana (I used frozen)
  • 1/3 cup quinoa flakes
  • 1 1/2 T chia seeds
  • 1 tsp ground vanilla beans
  • 1 cup almond milk


  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender very well.
  2. Serve immediately or freeze in ice cube trays for later.


Recipe Notes

Feel free to add greens to this if you wish. I suggest about 1 cup loosely packed spinach or kale. You can also pour this into popsicle molds. Enjoy!
