Homemade Healthier Tagalongs
A healthier version of the girl scout cookie!
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashew butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 2 T maple syrup
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 T almond milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a food processor , combine the cashew butter, maple syrup and sea salt.
- Using a cookie scoop to form cookies and place them on a lined baking sheet . Use your palm to press them flat. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool completely.
- Once the cookies are cool, spread a dollop of peanut butter onto the tops of each cookie. Place the cookies in the fridge while you make the chocolate coating.
- Use a double boiler method to melt the chocolate and milk together. Once all the chocolate is melted, spoon a little on top of each cookie. Set in the fridge for 30 minutes for the chocolate to set.
