Jamaican Jerk Roasted Sweet Potatoes

With big and bold flavors, this side dish is perfect for your holiday gatherings. Vegan, gluten free and paleo.

Ingredients

    Jerk seasoning

    • 1 T garlic powder
    • 1 T onion powder
    • 2 tsp cayenne
    • 1 tsp thyme
    • 1 tsp parsley
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp coconut sugar
    • 1/2 tsp allspice
    • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper

    Jamaican Jerk Roasted Sweet Potatoes

    • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
    • 2 T jerk seasoning
    • 2 T veggie broth
    • Sea salt to taste

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 400.
    2. In a large baking pan, mix the cubed sweet potatoes with the other ingredients.
    3. Bake in the pan for 45 - 60 minutes, taking out to stir at least once.
