Nut Free Snack Bites

The beginning of the school year is approaching.  So I made these Nut Free Snack Bites for you.  They contain no nuts, so they are perfect for school lunchboxes.  Not to mention, delicious!  My kids loved them and they also liked helping to make them.  If you are looking for more nut free treats, you may also like my banana bread baked oatmeal and my nut free truffles. These energy bites are perfect for when you need a pick me up.  They are a super cinch to make too. Nut Free Snack Bites - My Whole Food Life

In addition to being nut free, these are actually gluten free and vegan as well.  The recipe is super adaptable, so you can add in whatever you like.  Shredded coconut or chocolate chips come to mind as add ins for me.

Nut Free Snack Balls

Prep Time 10 min Serves 20 balls     adjust servings

A healthy snack perfect for lunchboxes.

Instructions

  1. In a food processor , combine all ingredients except the raisins. Once it looks combined, add in the raisins and pulse until they are well mixed.
  2. Roll into balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet . Place in the fridge to firm up. About 10 minutes.
  3. Keep these balls in the fridge or freezer. Either will work.

    1. Thank you! It's just like peanut butter made with sunflower seeds. You can use peanut butter or almond butter if you prefer :)
