I have mentioned this several times before, but my husband loves spicy food. He is the creator behind my Homemade Sriracha Sauce and my Homemade Salsa. I am not a fan of spicy food at all. This roasted jalapeno hummus recipe is all his creation and it really does have a kick! Very simple to make as well. Roasting the jalapenos adds a deeper level of flavor.

Dairy Free Sour Cream Recipe
Y’all this Dairy Free Sour Cream is where it’s at. Many people are moving away from dairy these days. Maybe because so many kids these days cannot tolerate it. My own daughter is allergic to dairy.
It makes her skin break out. Sure there are dairy free sour cream products on the market, but those are usually soy based.
Since most soy in this country is GMO, I thought I would come up with my own vegan and paleo sour cream recipe.
This is also a vegan sour cream recipe! It’s super easy to make too! In addition to this recipe, I also have a dairy free cheese sauce and a dairy free ranch dressing.
Homemade Sriracha Sauce (Vegan)
Homemade Sriracha Sauce. My husband loves sriracha. He puts it on everything. So when we started eating a whole food vegan diet, we took a look at the label of the sriracha.
The one that we had been buying was not vegan. In fact, he could only find one brand of sriracha that was vegan.
Most brands contained a fish sauce and a lot of preservatives. Even the vegan brand contained preservatives. So he finally decided to make his own homemade sriracha. Turns out it’s pretty easy to do!
Easy Black Bean Dip (Vegan)
This easy black bean dip is another one of my husband’s creations. He is also the mastermind behind the pumpkin enchiladas, guacamole and the easy salsa.
He tried making a back bean dip in the past and it was a fail. So when we had some extra dried black beans lying around, he decide to make another attempt at black bean dip. This easy bean dip was a win!
Homemade Salsa Recipe (Vegan)
I made you this Easy Homemade Salsa Recipe. My husband has a love of spicy foods. Me….not so much. He is addicted to chips and salsa and wanted to create a homemade salsa recipe.
Savory Pumpkin Dip
Most of you wanted more pumpkin, so here is another recipe. This one is savory and really good! It’s kind of a pumpkin version of hummus made with different ingredients.
This dip would be great with chips, crackers or veggies. Great for those holiday parties and a healthy alternative to traditional veggie dips. No added fats in here at all. 🙂 The flavors are very similar to those in my Smokey Roasted Chickpeas. It comes together in just minutes. If you enjoy savory pumpkin recipes, then you may also enjoy my Pumpkin Enchiladas.
