All Things Granola

I have a few different granola recipes on the blog.  Since the search button on the blog pretty much stinks, I am going to throw them into one post.  The granola recipes are some of my most viewed on the blog.  I am working on a recipe index, but it will take a bit of time to complete.  Bear with me. 🙂  Until then, here are all things granola.  You may never buy boxed cereal again…

    1. You are very welcome! I am working on making my blog more search friendly, but until then, I am going to a few posts like this. I also have a pumpkin granola, which I did not put on. I need to make the pictures better. :)
  2. All of these recipes look so good! Thank you. I bought some granola not long ago from a farmers market. It was moist and it was so yummy. Would it work to cut down the baking time to make it moist?
    1. Sure. You can also add a little more liquid to the recipe to keep it moist as well. Please report the results if it works out.
  3. Thanks so much for your awesome recipes!!! I've been obsessed cooking them all week! :) I made the peanut butter cup granola today...the whole family loved it...but I do have one question...do you usually soak your rolled oats over night?
  4. These look great! I just found your blog the other day. Do you have any suggestions for homemade breakfast cereals with out oats? I love oats, but my kids not so much.
    1. I store mine in an airtight container in the pantry. It usually will last a week that way. If you need it to last longer, you can store it in the fridge and some have successfully frozen it. I haven't tried that yet. Mine doesn't last more than a few days! lol.
  5. I love making homemade granola and getting creative with the combinations! My favorite creations are spiced maple molasses granola with candied ginger (http://www.strawberryplum.com/spiced-maple-molasses-granola/) and quinoa granola with dried figs (http://www.strawberryplum.com/almond-hazelnut-fig-granola/).
  6. Just wanted to drop a note and say that I am super impressed by your entire site, your recipes, ideas, thoughtful responses to people's posts, etc. I am VERY inexperienced in the kitchen and your recipes make me interested in giving some attempts a go!
  7. OH. MY. WORD. I may have just died and gone to heaven!!! :-D I must try the apple and nutella granola recipes ASAP!!!! I cannot seem to get my hubby to give up his processed cereal! STINKER! I have been buying him MOM's Best as a "better" option. He likes homemade granola, but he just wants to add it to his store bought cereal, not eat it by itself, lol. Maybe one of this flavorful recipes will help him finally let it go for good! Tehe, worth a try anyway! :) Ah! So excited to try some of these!! Blessings to you and your family!
  8. Please help! The Maple Vanilla Almond Granola recipe has vanished! Will you please post again - its one of our family's favorites! Thanks
    1. Hi Cheran, I am so sorry. I had to remove it from my blog because that is one of the few existing recipes that went into my cookbook. The book comes out on Tuesday. So sorry for the inconvenience, but it was part of the terms of my contract. :(
  9. I can't seem to find the Peanut Butter Cup granola recipe. It is my favorite and I can't find anything else like it. Can you help me find the recipe please? Thank you!
    1. Hi Beth. I am so sorry, but I had to remove it from the blog. It was one of 10 recipes from the blog that went into my cookbook. I apologize for the inconvenience, but it was part of my contract agreement. Here is the book link to Amazon if you want to check it out. http://tinyurl.com/prf3slb
