Gluten Free Pumpkin Donuts (Vegan)

Gluten Free Pumpkin Donuts.  Just because Thanksgiving is over doesn’t mean we need to give up pumpkin yet.  Here is my second attempt at gluten free baking.

It’s very similar to my pumpkin donuts.

These came out pretty good.  They got the thumbs up from my in-laws.  My father in-law is great.  He will try just about anything I give him to taste.

In fact, when they stop by, he checks the cupboard for the goodies. 🙂  We have a family member who has celiac disease so I will probably be experimenting with more of these gluten free recipes in the future.

So here they are.

Recipe Notes

I got 12 out of my batch. They should last a couple weeks and you can even freeze them for longer storage. Enjoy!

    1. Thanks for reading! I do not lead a gluten free life either, but I know a lot of people do so I would like to try to cater to those readers as well. I also have a non gluten free pumpkin donut recipe. You can find them here. https://mywholefoodlife.com/2012/11/20/pumpkin-spiced-donuts/
      1. Could you give some examples? I'm new to GF and am still figuring it out. There is a child in my class at church who has a gluten and dairy free diet so these would be fantastic to try.
  1. What is sorghum flour? These look really good. I don't necessarily need them to be gluten-free, but wondered if I can substitute something for it, if I can't find it? I love your blog-- I feel like I'm always pinning your recipes to try!!
  2. Hi there. Made these yesterday for my daughters & they actually cheered when they tasted them! They'll be having these for dessert at school. I have some of the chocolate topping left over so I covered it with plastic wrap & stuck it in the fridge. How long do you think it will be good for? I want to use it for another of your recipes but won't receive my ingredients until Friday. Do you think it will still be edible if I reheat it in a double boiler? Thanks so much!
    1. So glad you liked the recipe! I think the extra chocolate should be fine for a few days. I have never tried reheating it, but imagine it will be okay.
