Sweet and Salty Holiday Bark

Have you tried Bark Thins?  I LOVE the pretzel version, so that is where the inspiration for this Sweet and Salty Holiday Bark came from.  I also added extra sweetness with the pomegranates and beautiful color with the pistachios.  For more holiday recipes check out this post.

This healthy dessert is super easy to make AND you can make it ahead of time.  It makes a small batch, so if you plan on entertaining a crowd, then I suggest doubling the batch.

Soft Baked Iced Gingerbread Cookies

Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Pamela’s, but all opinions are my own.  Thank you for supporting the brands that I love.

If you love gingerbread cookies, you have to try these Soft-Baked Iced Gingerbread Cookies!  They are perfect for holidays and very easy to make.  I used Pamela’s grain and gluten-free nut flour blend.

One thing I really love about this nut flour blend is that there are no added ingredients.  Typically, gluten free flours often contain xanthan gum or guar gum.  Pamela’s has neither.  The only ingredients in this flour blend are: almond flour, coconut flour, pecan flour and walnut flour.

Cashew Caramel Squares (Vegan and Paleo)

Cashew Caramel Squares.  OMG, you guys!  I just made the most epic treat.  Initially, I was trying to make a cashew brittle, but the end product was more of a caramel-like texture.

The taste was out of this world delicious!  The best part?  You only need 4 simple ingredients!  If you like desserts with small ingredient lists, you may also like this post.

This healthier holiday treat is vegan, gluten free and paleo approved!  It would be perfect for holiday parties or a cookie swap.

I do need to note, that if kept out of the fridge for too long, they do get quite soft, so these are best stored in the fridge.  I told Marcus to take them to work, but he didn’t want to share haha!

This 4 Ingredient Peppermint Fudge is vegan, gluten free, paleo and raw.  My husband said they would also be great with a little chocolate drizzle over the top.

I bet my 3 ingredient chocolate bar recipe would be perfect for that.  For the candy cane garnish on these, I used these dye free candy canes.

I got mine at Whole Foods, but you can probably find them at most health food stores and I will also provide the Amazon link for you.

Sweet and Spicy Holiday Almonds

This is a super easy recipe for a great snack addition to your holiday celebrations.  Who needs chips when you can eat sweet and spicy almonds?  This snack would be great alongside my Gingerbread Granola.  Click here for that recipe.

Roasted Almonds

I am thinking about giving my daughter’s teachers a batch of these instead of the applesauce I was going to make for them.  This is so much easier.  They take only a minute to throw together and then 20 minutes in the oven.  Plus, they will make your house smell fabulous!
