Coconut “Nutella” Cups

These things are amazing!  If you like my Homemade Nutella and my Coconut Almond Fudge, you will love these Coconut Nutella Cups!

Coconut Cups Watermark

Let me be the first to say that these should be saved for a time when you want to indulge.  However, they are so rich in taste, that you can’t eat more than a couple bites.  Just store them in your fridge or freezer for when you want to treat yourself with a dessert. 🙂

  1. In a saucepan , on medium heat, combine all ingredients except the Nutella and stir well.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Line muffin pans with liners. I used standard sized muffin pans and lined them with silicone liners . Paper liners would work well too.
  4. Spoon a small amount of coconut mixture into each cup. Spoon a bit of homemade Nutella on top.
  5. Cover the Nutella with more coconut mixture.
  6. Repeat these steps until all are done.
  7. Place the muffin pans in the fridge to allow the cups to firm up.
  8. I let mine sit about 30-45 minutes.

Recipe Notes

I got 9 cups out of my batch. You can use mini muffin pans as well. Enjoy!

  1. Umm this recipe seems a little off....the outside is nothing but two kinds of butter, oil, and sugar? Wouldn't one of those first two ingredients be flour?
    1. It's not off. It has a fudge like consistency. I have another similar fudge recipe to this one and it's very popular. The coconut butter and almond butter give it a melt in your mouth feel.
  2. I am out of coconut butter & want to make these today.... any suggestions for a substitution or should I just wait til I replenish my coconut butter supply?
  3. Hi just want to say love love ur recipes! Youve helped me so much before with other questions, I have another! Lol I would love to make these but my kids have nut allergies what could I use in the place of the Nutella any suggestions thank you soooo much
  4. HI Melissa, I´ve made your nutella cups twice already, and tomorrow I plan to make them again. We love them! It´s the best dessert I´ve made so far. But I have a question: what should I do with the oil that floats on top of the hazel nut butter? Throw it, mix it with the butter? Thanks
    1. Glad you like them! Are you talking about store bought hazelnut butter? If so, I would try and mix it into the butter.
  5. Hello! I LOVE your website and all the amazing recipes! I'd love to make your granola bar recipes but I can't have any grains, do you have an alternative for rolled oats? Also, is there a way of printing all of your recipes at once? I want them all!!!! Thanks!
    1. Thank you! There is a print button on each recipe page. That is the only way to print them. Can you eat quinoa? You can try making the granola using quinoa flakes instead of oats.
    1. Hi Deb! I am so sorry that you can't find it. That recipe went into my cookbook and I had to remove it off the blog as part of my contract agreement. :( If you have a copy of my cookbook, you can find it in there now. Sorry about the inconvenience, but it was not my idea.
