These flourless peanut butter muffins are so good.  They are vegan, gluten free, egg free, grain free and dairy free.

You can even keep them paleo by using sunflower butter or almond butter.  I used peanut butter in this recipe because my husband loves it.

I do think these muffins would be fabulous with almond butter though.  One thing I have to point out is that these flourless muffins have a slightly different texture than traditional muffins made with flour.

I think they are totally delicious, though.

    1. thy have 406 calories each. 20 g of fat, 48 carbs, and 10 grams of protein. If you are trying to create even blood sugar and avoid insulin resistance I would nix these puppies in a second. Either that or go have a giant ice cream cone.
        1. Shouldn't buy into the diet stuff with carbs being bad. As someone who is a high carb low fat vegan, these are fantastic.
      1. Not sure how you came up with that number...I googled calories of each ingredient and came up with 760.5 for the whole recipe. So depending on how many muffins you make it will be significantly less than what you are showing.
  1. I would love to try these but don't have a food processor and don't want to buy one just for this recipe. Would a blender work if the dates were diced?
  2. Hi I'm from the uk , what temp should I put my oven on . You have just said 350 is that degrees Celsius/farenheit. Also I have a fan assisted oven so would this make a difference Thanks
  3. Would these work if I used paper liners instead? I don't own silicone ones and don't want them to stick to the liners.
  4. Oh my! This recipe is delicious!!!! My husband loves peanut butter and I'm working on eventually becoming vegan/vegetarian. I pinned this recipe months ago but just now after dinner we were craving dessert and I thought about this cupcakes. They are surprisingly delicious. Great job!!

  6. I made these yesterday and they are soooo good! I was truly surprised that they cooked like muffins and came out like muffins! They tasted amazing and are truly addictive. This is now a favorite recipe of mine.
  7. I made these into a cake and used homemade almond butter instead! I am one to eat before working out to gain energy and these are perfect treat before a great workout!
  8. Edit: I didn't have a muffin tin so I baked this recipe like a cake. I added half a cup of milk, walnuts, and a pinch of sea salt and it worked great!
  9. The husband & I both love these. I made them tonight for the first time. They are super easy & delicious. I got 10 muffins from the batch. Thanks!
  10. I just made these but omitted the dates because my bananas were very ripe and I didn't want them to be too sweet. They turned out perfect. I think the dates would have been a little too much on the sweet side. With less ripe bananas, I'm sure the dates would be perfect. I also put cacao nibs on top instead of chocolate chips! They are delicious and I love how almost fudge-y the texture is.
