  1. Do the oats need to be gluten free? Will regular rolled oats work the same? Can the almond milk be substituted for cow's milk? Thank you!
  2. Found this via a friend who posted it on Facebook. Sooooo excited to try them as I have started college (I'm 46) and this is a perfect breakfast solution! Really appreciate your variety and all the comments! Such a great find!
  3. They all look amazing Mel, thanks so much for sharing. I've tried a few and really love the blueberry/cream and the vanilla/coconut. I use raw honey instead of stevia/maple syrup and a scoop of whey protein. Making 5-6 serves at once saves me so much time in the mornings and they're absolutely delicious!!!
  4. Hello, I have a question. Are the steel cut oats you use the regular slow cooking ones? And if so, you can just put them in the mixture uncooked at night? Thanks!
        1. Right. I just put all the ingredients in a jar, stir well and place in the fridge overnight. If you like to eat them warm, you can heat them up in the morning. I eat mine cold and they remind me of cereal.
          1. Ok, thanks. I've made them with regular oatmeal and I prefer it cold as well. In fact, I don't usually like oatmeal, so I'm excited to find that I enjoy them like this. Thanks for all the great recipes!
  5. Hi! I am going to make these oats for my daughter and I. I know she will love them. Question, Does the cashews add to the consistency of the oats? What about the almond milk? I will need to omit both since my daughter is allergic to all nuts and I am allergic to soy. We could never be full Vegan!! LOL!
  6. I was wondering if you've ever tried pineapple in your overnight oats. I'm thinking some kind of pineapple-coconut combo (like a pina colada). Do you think that might work? I've got a pineapple waiting to be used up, and I'm looking to change up my breakfast routine. I eat a version of your blueberries and cream oats recipe almost every day. :)
