I have another new holiday cookie recipe for you!  This time it’s flourless chocolate peppermint cookies.  These flourless chocolate peppermint cookies are super easy to make.  All you need is 4 ingredients and less than 15 minutes!  If you like these, you may also enjoy my 4 ingredient peppermint fudge.

These chocolate peppermint cookies has a buttery taste/texture without any oil or butter!  I added some dark chocolate chips to mine for an extra punch of chocolate goodness.  These flourless peppermint cookies are vegan, gluten free and paleo.  I hope you enjoy them as much as we did.  This recipe makes a small batch, so if you are feeding a lot of people, you may want to double it!  If you need more holiday cookie ideas, you may also like this post.  I used homemade cashew butter for this recipe, but you can also use store bought. It’s super easy to make yourself.  Just put cashews in a food processor and mix into butter.

Apple Cinnamon Smoothie

One of the best things about my job is that I get to review some pretty awesome cookbooks.  This Apple Cinnamon Delight recipe comes from Emily Von Euw’s latest cookbook, 100 Best Juices, Smoothies and Healthy SnacksI am already a fan of her blog, and I own her first cookbook, Rawsome Vegan Baking as well.  If you are looking for a great way to start off the new year healthier, I highly recommend this book.  I have to admit, sometimes I get in a smoothie/juice rut and lack the inspiration for new recipes.  That is what makes 100 Best Juices, Smoothies and Healthy Snacks so great.  You will never get bored.

This Easy Homemade Guacamole Recipe is super easy to make!  Homemade guacamole is kind of like homemade hummus.  It’s so easy to make, but it’s often bought because many people don’t realize how easy it is to make!

Once you try this easy guacamole recipe, you will never buy it at the store again.  It literally takes only a few minutes!  Plus you can control the ingredients.

We have chips and guacamole at just about every family gathering we go to, so it would be perfect for your holiday parties too.  I don’t know of a single person that doesn’t care for guacamole or avocados in general.  This recipe is so simple.

All you need is one bowl.  No food processor or anything else.  Unless you prefer to make it that way.

We love to eat this with fresh veggies or Beanitos.  Yum!  This guacamole should last about 3 days in the fridge.

Ours is usually gone the first day though!  This guacamole would go perfect with my homemade Mary’s Gone Crackers.
