Banana Nutella Popsicles

I have made you some Banana Nutella Popsicles.  Growing up with a German mom, we always had Nutella in the house.  I had been known to sneak that jar up to my room and enjoy a few bites form time to time.  Sadly, the store bought Nutella is laden with unwanted ingredients.  So I created these Banana Nutella Popsicles to hopefully curb that craving.  These came out delicious!

Banana Nutella Popsicles - My Whole Food Life

Unlike some of my other popsicle recipes, these are free of cococnut milk.  In stead, I added bananas for the creamy factor.  They go so well with the hazelnuts and chocolate.  This recipe makes a small batch of only 3 popsicles, so you may want to double it.

A decadent treat with no added sugar!

Instructions

  1. In a food processor , grind up the hazelnuts into a fine consistency.
  2. Then add in the remaining ingredients and blend well.
  3. Spoon the mixture into popsicle molds . It will be very thick, so you may need to push it down with a spoon.
  4. Place the popsicle molds in the freezer to set. It should take about 6 hours.

Recipe Notes

These popsicles are a little chunky. I liked them with the chunks. Kind of reminded me of those Rocher truffles. You can always blend the hazelnuts longer if you want them a little more smooth. Enjoy!

  1. Love all the popsicle recipes! One day I just put watermelon in the food processor and made watermelon ice pops. Delicious.
